The death of printed news
Many big cities in USA are about to loose their printed daily newspapers.
Internet, social media, and digital news are taking over. We're not at that point in Finland, yet, but the economical crisis is taking its toll.
Experts expect that newspaper deaths will increase in Europe during the coming 5 to 15 years.
Demographics are taking the youngsters to Internet and there is less and less people reading the traditional newspaper.
We've to small papers in my hometown, Loviisa, one in Finnish and the other one in Swedish language. But how long?
