The K2020 story is a fusion of real and imagined events. The initial phase takes place in the mid-70s, a time when the desktop / personal computer was waiting for a break-through.
Kajaani has been chosen as the operating environment, but the plot will take the readers to many other places around the globe.
I had to be sure before I made this commitment a year ago. Today, I've selected a central location for the HQ, and about one hundred pages of written material with real and fictional personalities in key roles in the company.
The company is having a strong economic growth spurt these last few years and new innovative products and smart project management is promising expansion and profitability for the coming ten years. It's impossible to predict further than 10 years ahead.
