Concerning the building automation area, we have already planned to participate in some events in the sustainable development area,
in Paris this autumn.
There is a conference organized by ESSEC business school about new Green IT business
in the middle of October and the trade fairs Pollutec (environment, cleantech) in December
and eventually Bâtimat (construction, with a sustainable building management section) in November.
Perhaps we could have a deeper discussion over the phone.
The Area Manager should handle the business operations in greater Paris area. The idea is to get started from Paris and expand to other big cities.
- build customer relations with systems integrators (building industry)
- knowledge about the building industry
- ability to run the business operations in the area / region
- make quotations, negotiate contracts, lead projects
- training by the company
- support by the company
Our schedule is to set specific goals in November 2009 and to start the operations 2010. I'll inform about details in November. We're also preparing to do the same in Germany.
At the moment, there are several things in the pipeline to be done before we can take the next move.
Helge,
Your project seems very interesting and thank you very much for the link to the OpenFinnovation-site. Could you please tell me a little bit more what kind of partnership you are looking for and what you expect the Area manager to do (market studies, elaborate offers, seeking and developing customers, finding out about technical standards…. ?)
On the technical side, my partner is a French System engineer (with a background in measurement) and he could also give technical support to elaborate the technical solutions between the French companies and your client.
Best regards
Catharina Dember
