Kerala, also named as God's own country is a paradise and wonderful landscape of palm- lined and vast golden sandy beaches. Kayaking - is a sport that tests one’s fitness. A small boat rowed by one or two men with twin paddled oars is very adventurous. There are many backwater areas where Kayaking gets more adventurous and thrilling. Some of the famous ones are Alleppey, Kottayam backwaters, Thenmala etc.
Snorkeling - The beaches of Kovalam, Alppuzha and Varkala are famous for snorkeling, a favorite tourist recreation. It is a kind of swimming equipped with a breathing tube or a snorkel and a mask. It is executed on deep sea surfaces.
