10968908099?profile=originalHsuan-chu (Chloe) Lee, last week we spoke about new blog postings featuring Taiwan, China, and Hong-Kong.

How should an European prepare himself / herself?

  1. ARRIVING AT THE AIRPORT: how should we be prepared to meet a Taiwanese colleague?
    - business card
    - formalities, customs, etc.
    - gifts, presents, timing
    - meeting at the airport
    - travel to hotel (taxi, subway, public transport)
    - visiting an office
    - dress code
    - visiting at private home
    - food and beverages...

  2. YOUR HOMETOWN: It might be a good idea to present some of your favored shops, tee-houses / cafeterias, shopping centers where you like to go
    - my idea is to add a human interest point of view to the blog postings
    - also consider how to travel to Asia with a small budget, not necessarely staying at five star luxury hotels or traveling first class

Monday morning: could we talk over skype at 10 am. I'll be traveling on Tuesday all day from early morning to late night, so we can cover the writings of the new week.
