According to the Town Hall, Mijas will invest 4 million euros in infrastructures next year.
The local government has suggested different works for 2016, that will improve the quality of life of the residents and promote the municipality on a tourist level.
Among these five stand out for their social and economic impact. Although the 2016 municipal budget includes more than 4 million euros for investments, the total budget can rise to eleven million euros.
Along with the investments foreseen, the local government will subject other works to the sale of patrimony. It's estimated that the sale of vacant building plots could bring 6,7 million euros to the municipality.
