This picture is from a MANIFESTATION in Madrid a few days ago. The location is at the Metro station Grand Via, less than one hundred meters away from our Hotel Catalonia in the center of the city.
Tonight we've been following the biggest demonstration from the balcony of our hotel taking place at Puerta del SOL a few hundred meters away from out Hotel at Gran Via.
A helicopter is still monitoring the movements of the protesters. The TV is reporting that 800 000 protesters were showing their resentment against the economical restrictions in Madrid.
