The Korea Wood Show, a leading trade show in Korea is scheduled for November 9-12, 2017 at Hall 10 of KINTEX ( 2nd Exhibition Center). The first edition of Korea Wood Show was organised in 2014.

The notable items to be introduced at 2017 Korea Wood Show are wood furniture, diverse species wood slab, various types of wooden houses and interior and exterior wood products etc.

Especially 2017 Korea Wood Show is aimed for the visitors to see and appreciate diverse wood products, building materials for wood house construction including structural lumber and panel products, glulam and engineered wood products, furniture, diverse species for making wood slab, treated wood, many species for furniture, interior/exterior products and diverse healing and phytoncide emission species and paints etc.

Like in 2016, the keyword of 2017 Korea Wood Show is “the house” for which interior decoration with wood products and earthquake resistant design will be introduced.

Various types of wooden houses including the light weighted wood house, heavy timber house, movable wooden house and wooden house as second home purpose will be also introduced.

Kuhmo Oy has ordered a fully automatic high capacity 2-zone progressive kiln type HTC with an annual capacity of ca. 65 000 m3 from Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc.

The drying kiln can be used for drying of pine and spruce timber with thicknesses of 16 – 50 mm from sawn green timber to the final moisture of 12 – 18 %.

The turnkey delivery consists  also energy measuring system, high capacity heat recovery unit, pressure frames and HEINOLA’s advanced  Dry Kiln Control System.

The new progressive kiln will be taken into production early 2018. This investment eliminates the bottleneck in Kuhmo Oy’s process and thereby enables increase in production.

I would like to share with you some tips on how to start your writing. I use it myself, and hope you will find it useful as well.

Essays - this is a written work,that should contain methodical analysis and evaluation of some topic or problem. For example, with our competition NEISSER, you are invited to demonstrate and prove the "interestingness" of some experiment (although, it must be said, this is a rather unusual formulation of the problem for the essay).

While writing an essay, it is easy to fall into one of two extremes - to describe the facts, bypassing the interpretation (fearing its subjectivity), or vice versa, to describe your personal opinion without backing it with facts. The art of writing essays consists precisely in finding this balance, in the ability to express one's position, logically.

Usually a good essay gives a description and discussion of several positions or points of view, and then on their basis a conclusion is drawn reflecting the author's informed opinion. Therefore, before writing an essay, you always need to formulate what you think about what you write, what your position is, what idea you will be defending. In the case of our essay, everything is simpler - in fact, the conclusion is already made ("This experiment is interesting to me"), it remains to describe why.

Begin work on the essay is with a careful reading of his name or job. What are you invited to do? Describe, compare, discuss? What question is asked? Do you understand all the terms at this stage? Based on this information, you can start thinking through the text plan.
