Virtual reality technology is used in art, games, and business applications. Sometimes the medium does really become the message, as our desire for new technology exceeds the need to create compelling content.

What value does VR bring? What value does immersion bring? What does it produce in my body, soul, and mind? For one thing, immersive art makes the experience more personal. 

Experience is of course always subjective, but immersion is different from a typical art piece/spectator divide.  I just saw myself as a part of a larger project. They've given me a role in a play and made me an immersive partner in the game.

The K2020 story is a fusion of real and  imagined events. The initial phase takes place in the mid-70s, a time when the desktop / personal computer was waiting for a break-through.

Kajaani has been chosen as the operating environment, but the plot will take the readers to many other places around the globe.

I had to be sure before I made this commitment a year ago. Today, I've selected a central location for the HQ, and  about one hundred pages of written material with real and fictional personalities in key roles in the company.

The company is having a strong economic growth spurt these last few years and new innovative products and smart project management is promising expansion and profitability for the coming ten years. It's impossible to predict further than 10 years ahead.

• My goal is to to write 500 pages and publish 2020
• The final content is negotiated with the publisher; it could be less or more
• I've not yet made a decision about the use of pictures of graphics
• I need complete freedom over the creative process
• The book has to be appealing and interesting for me to begin with
• I am not writing for a specific target group or audience
• The book is looking forward, past experiences are projected towards a created future
