Last year, a "freguen flyer" spent 322 days on the road. He flew 560 000 kilometres. The distance to the moon is only 400 000 kilometres. A large part of global collaboration can take place over the Internet. Problem solving and networking succeeds within the boundaries of social media.
In my opinion there are tons of things that can be done over the Internet. Complex tasks can be executed online. Crowdsourcing helps us to grasp new things faster than ever and problems are solved through global interaction in less time and with smaller budgets than ever before.
