Powerful tools for global online collaboration have been available for decades, but it was Covid-19 that taught us to use the hardware, software, and networks throughout industries and organizations. Family and friends found each other face to face on Zoom and Teams.  We travel less and spend more time at home.  DIY materials suppliers are happy to have more clients decorating their homes, expanding patios, and maintaining their gardens.  Distance work has become mainstream for millions as people move out of crowded cities to rural areas where they find more space and room for their families and room for their home-based offices.  I welcome the change. Last year, a "freguen flyer" spent 322 days on the road. He flew 560 000 kilometres. The distance to the moon is only 400 000 kilometres. A large part of global collaboration can take place over the Internet. Problem solving and networking succeeds within the boundaries of social media.

In my opinion there are tons of things that can be done over the Internet. Complex tasks can be executed online. Crowdsourcing helps us to grasp new things faster than ever and problems are solved through global interaction in less time and with smaller budgets than ever before.
